Nearly all of India’s larger religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism, as well as the world’s oldest medical system Ayurveda, either advocate a meat-free diet or clearly prohibit meat consumption.
Correspondingly, a survey from 2021 indicates that about 40% of the country’s immense population identify as vegetarian, while this number is even higher in states like the country’s largest (by area) Rajastan where this accounts for 3 out of 4 people.
Bindia have, therefore, dedicate a significant part of the menu for vegetarian and vegan Indian dishes. In addition to these 4 vegetarian or vegan dishes, it is possible to order all of our delicious curries in a vegetarian or vegan version (the vegan version is only possible for "Madras", "Jeera Masala" and "Coconut Tamarind", as the remaining curries contains milk products).
